What our free Calgary drone roof inspection actually includes.
What happens when you book the inspection, what we’re looking for, and what we tell you about your roof.
What we do on-site
The inspection takes 20–30 minutes on your property. We don’t need you to be home as long as we can park near the roof.
Drone fly-over (15 min). A DJI Mavic 3 at 4K imagery — every slope, every valley, every penetration, every flashing. Multiple altitudes for context and detail.
Ground-level walk (5–10 min). Eavestrough condition, fascia, soffit, downspouts. Drip edge alignment. Visible siding damage near roofline.
Attic look (5 min, if you grant access). Best place to spot active or historical leaks — water staining on the deck underside, mould, daylight visible through penetrations.
What you get within 24 hours
A written PDF photo report — every slope, every issue called out with annotations, severity rating, and recommended action (monitor / repair / replace).
Plus our honest assessment. Examples of what you might hear:
- ·“Your roof has 6 years left. No action needed. Call us in 5.”
- ·“You have minor hail bruising. Not a viable insurance claim. Monitor.”
- ·“You have actionable hail damage. Open a claim. Here’s the report to send your insurer.”
- ·“Your roof is past serviceable life. Replacement quote attached.”
- ·“You have a specific repair need (failed boot vent / damaged valley / etc.). Fixed-price repair quote attached.”
What we don’t do
We don’t show up for a 30-minute inspection and then deliver a 90-minute sales pitch. We don’t leave you with “urgent” concerns to pressure a same-day decision. We don’t inflate damage to sell more work.
If your roof is fine, that’s the answer. We’d rather you call us in five years than feel manipulated today.
